I had my Bachelorette weekend in Scottsdale, Arizona this September 2022 during Labor Day weekend! Here I wanted to share all the fun stuff that took place! Where are you having your Bachelorette Trip or Party?? If you’re looking for what to give your girls for the Bach trip, check out my Bachelorette Gift Guide blog post.
Hotel Valley Ho
I planned my Bachelorette on the Bach App. I was able to put together polls and share trip ideas with the group. We narrowed it down to early September and then the planning began! We originally booked The Saguaro Hotel in Scottsdale, but they ended up closing for renovations, so we changed our accommodation reservations to Hotel Valley Ho! The Hotel Valley Ho team was phenomenal; their hospitality and attention to detail was so appreciated! The hotel was also in the middle of Old Town Scottsdale. We were close to all the restaurants and shops.
The Itinerary
We put together a theme filled weekend, so we could dress up most days! On the first day that we arrived, we were able to check in early to one of the rooms (the room was 1111, which is my wedding date!). We changed into comfortable attire, since we were in airport gear, and put on our matching T-Shirts that one of my friend’s had put together (all with a different saying – mine said Dazed and Engaged!).
After freshening up, we took an Uber to Diego Pops for margaritas and tacos to start off the trip. SO GOOD! We headed back to the hotel after our lunch to nap and shower (the Arizona heat is no joke), and then we got ready for our night out in the town. We did Disco Night for our Saturday night plans, where we headed over to the Scottsdale entertainment district to bar hop.
The next morning we were pretty jet lagged, so we woke up earlier than expected and wanted to explore the desert. We got dressed and headed over to grab a quick bite at Alo Cafe, where we had Chaga Coffee. We then took an Uber to Papago Park. We spent no more than 20 minutes there since the heat got up to 100 degrees (we aren’t used to the dry heat). We headed back to our hotel where we decided to hit the pool, since they had a local DJ there. We had saved a table for us 8 and ordered snacks and drinks to enjoy. We dressed in our grooviest swimwear for the day!
After some time at the pool, we freshened up and walked over to the The Outrider Rooftop for beautiful desert views. We had a drink there before going back to Diego Pops for more tacos! We ended up at Sugar Bowl for some ice cream before calling it a night.
We awoke early Monday morning to head over to the Scott Resort and Hotel for brunch at the Canal Club. After a photo session, we took an Uber to Wine Girl for some snacks and wine (of course!). We were going to do the Scottsdale Wine trail (where you head to local wineries in Scottsdale, most being walking distance), but we ended up at The Drunk Munk for some great sushi and a champagne tower! After a day exploring food and wine spots, as well as local shopping, we went back to the hotel to shower and got dressed for our dinner out at Toca Madera Scottsdale.
Desert Sunset Tour
The next morning we walked over to Jojo’s Coffeehouse for coffee flights and a yummy breakfast. After that, we put our swimwear on and headed back to the pool for a chill day out in the sun. We all wore different solid colored swimwear! After a quick swim, we made it back to the room where we got dressed and took an Uber about 20-30 minutes out to catch our Desert Sunset Tour with Scottsdale Adventure Tours. The tour was incredible! Our tour guide, Lisa Marie, was the sweetest and so inviting! We were able to put our music of choice and she taught us all about the area. We spent some time taking in the views and taking photos at the top of a mountain in the Sonoran Desert. An unforgettable experience! We built up an appetite on the ride back, so we checked out Craft 64 (which was just a 3 minute walk from our hotel) where we had some pizza before they closed for the evening.
The next morning was check out day, where we took an Uber back to the airport. What an amazing experience this was! So thankful for the ladies that made this adventure so special! Can’t wait for more girls trips to come.
