Space buns and glitter galore! Welcome to EDC Orlando! As a Native Floridian, Orlando is always a great mini getaway go to spot, especially living down south in Miami where it’s only a few hours drive. An annual tradition my friends and I had was drive up north to experience Electric Daisy Carnival, a two day Electric Music Festival that includes fair food and rides and various other attractions, and of course big DJ names in the EDM industry. It’s a weekend filled with good music and great people.
The girls and I would always plan our outfits, even create them from scratch! Grabbing crop tops and high-waisted shorts to come up with some festival inspired looks. We would rent a house in Orlando to stay for the weekend; gorgeous modern two story homes with a pool and large kitchen space (dream homes). Let’s get to festival day now!
Tinker Field
We would get up to start preparing for our adventure. Makeup done, glitter everywhere and hair ready to go! The prepping before going out was some of the best times! Once there, we would explore the vicinity and grab a snack, maybe ride some of the fun fair rides while at it. The best DJ’s would begin to play on and after 5pm, right before sunset. The rest of the night included dancing and enjoying the tunes.
The Orlando park where the event is held at is called Tinker Field. It’s a large space that usually fits three large stages, smaller stages are added on depending on the need per year. Some of the best memories have been made during these music festival weekends. You can’t go wrong with a weekend of friends and music. Enjoy some photos below from the various years of EDC.
Word of advice if you are interested in attending: wear comfortable shoes since you’ll be standing, walking, and dancing the majority of the time. It may be a good idea to bring a sweater just in case it gets chilly at night.
