My family and I wanted a little winter getaway without such an intense drive from Miami, so we decided to drive up to St. Augustine for a few days! We stayed in an Airbnb near St .Augustine’s Historic District. Such a cute house we stayed at! We had Mellow Mushroom near by for some yummy pizza too. We drove up with the dogs and we were able to explore what the area had to offer!
Wine Tastings and Distilleries
After breakfast at Maple Street Biscuit Company, we explored Castillo de San Marcos and walked all over town to see the Christmas lights for December. We visited The Fountain of Youth and had some wine at the San Sebastian Winery. We then headed over to St. Augustine Distillery for some whiskey and bourbon tastings. Such a good time! We also had some delicious tacos and margaritas at a near by restaurant before heading back to the Airbnb to lounge around.
Windy days by the Sea
We had breakfast at Sunday Gathering Table (SO GOOD!) and also explored Vilano Beach, where we were able to take the dogs to have some fun on the sand. Before driving back home, we grabbed coffee to go from The Kookaburra. Love mini getaways to St. Augustine!
